Nutrients and the eyes
Folate is a form of a water-soluble B vitamin. Folate occurs naturally in food and folic acid is synthesized.1
Vitamin C is found to be I needed in high concentrations in the lens of the eye and in the tear fluid.2,3
Bilberry and grape seed extract have been shown to maintain health circulation in the blood vessels of the eye, helping to maintain the integrity of the capillary walls.6
Alpha Lipoic Acid is one of the premier antioxidants available today. It may help protect the body and the eyes against damage on a cellular level.3
Ginkgo biloba may help increase ocular blood flow to enhance blood distribution to the eye.7
Taurine is found in the retina of the eye and has been shown to be helpful in protecting the optic nerve and the retina.8
